Golden Globes

Saw most of the year's Golden Globes. Ricky Gervais as host - not too bad, I guess.

Winners I don't have a beef with, as well as first time Globe winners like Kevin Bacon and Drew Barrymore

• Julianna Margulies for The Good Wife
• Meryl Streep for Julie and Julia
  
• Robert Downey Jr for Sherlock Holmes - his non-acceptance speech alone was hilarious

People who didn't win who I kinda wished did

• Hugh Laurie
• Simon Baker

Of course as usual there are plenty of movies and shows I've no time and energy to watch, so there's that.

Only thing I hated was James Cameron and Avatar winning a couple of Globes. Sheesh.
